General Teamsters Local 313 is one of many Teamster Locals including  some 1.4 million Teamsters and their families and over 400,000 retirees in the United States and Canada.  Our union is a democratic organization where the members have the right to elect their leaders and decide the union's policies.

Being a Teamster gives you many rights and benefits on the job.  It also gives you the chance to join with other working people to win changes in your workplace and your community.

Local 313 is one of the oldest Teamster locals in the Pacific Northwest, owning  an original charter date of October 1, 1903.  For over a century, workers from many different trades in our area have come together in solidarity and have made us what we are today.
